Will you transport surf boards and golf clubs or even large items like bikes for me?

Yes surf boards and golf clubs are fine there is provision to book oversize items when doing online or telephone bookings, an extra charge of $10 per item applies. For larger items like bikes You must first advise us first the size of the item to confirm availability. Call us on 1300 588 805 to discuss.

What credit cards do you accept?

All major cards including Visa, MasterCard and American Express

Will you pick me up from my door?

We offer a door to door pick up service in Byron Bay but with some limitations, check terms and condition for this information. Areas within the actual Byron Bay.

Do you have child capsules and booster seats?

Our services to Ballina Byron, Gold Coast and Brisbane airports are operated with vehicles seating more than 12 passengers and it is not a legal requirement for child capsules or booster seats in these vehicles.

Do your Shuttle Buses have seat/safety belts?

Yes, our entire fleet is fitted with seat belts

Do I need to pre-book or can I pay cash?

Our services can be prebooked online through our easy to use booking system and paid at the same time as you make your booking.
Cash payment is only accepted for those passengers joining us at the Byron Bay Main Bus Stop and subject to available seating.

Is there a discount for children?

A child fare is the adult fare less $10, this applies to children aged 4 – 14, those under 4 years are free, subject to a limit of 2 per booking.

Where do you pick up at the Airports?

We will send you email confirmation that will have a map showing you the meeting points.

Where do you carry my luggage?

Our Byron Sky Shuttles normally travel with custom built luggage trailers.

Why do you want flight details?

As we are a scheduled service, it is important for our drivers to monitor flight arrival times to enable us to know passengers have landed and are in the airport.

Why do drivers ask for details when we have given details with the booking?

Drivers will ask for these details to ensure return bookings are the correct day and time.

What happens if my flight is late and I miss my connection?

Unless a large majority of our scheduled passengers are also delayed we will have to depart for the scheduled journey. You must need to advise us if you are going to be late. If a seat is available we will transfer you to the next available service, check our terms and conditions and refund policy if no other services are available.
